This is the beautiful reproduction on a metal plate of a nostalgic publicity which Maggi made for soups. The person is worked as relief into the metal which gives an authentic style to the plate.
About Maggi: Julius Michael Johnnes Maggi was born in October 1846 in Frauenfeld in Germany. In 1884 he commercialised his first product. Before the end of the 19th century Maggi had such a success that some subsidiaries were opened in France, Europe and the United States. This successful growth leads Maggi to the decision to found his own marketing department; his first director was Franz Wedekind. Under his direction Maggi became an original brand and the colours yellow and red were soon part of Maggi's brand identity.
