This gourmet salt is refined with thyme and laurel. It is ideal for venison, ragout, grilled meat and can also be used in your salt mill.
The salt from Gruissan is harvested according an old method. It grows on natural “felt”. This felt consists of plankton that naturally grows in the Mediterranean Sea. From March on the salt crystallizes through the effect of natural evaporation on this natural breeding ground, which is very rich on trace elements. In autumn just before equinox the salt has its mineral maturity and is harvested.
